Courses in Geoinformatics
CED offers managerial and career courses in GIS and Remote Sensing for national as well as International candidates. The courses are conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar. The courses are more utility management oriented and includes the powerful combination of GIS, Remote Sensing and GPS. It covers the basics of GIS, Remote Sensing and GPS, advanced analytical and data management capabilities of GIS etc.
1. One Month (Full-time) Advanced Certificate Course in Geoinformatics (G1)
- For Post Graduates/Graduates/Diploma holders
- 26 working Days – 10 am to 5 pm
- Theory, Practical and Project work
- Course fee:Â Rs. 10,000/-Â For Indian candidates/US$ 500/- For Foreign candidates (+ GST @18%)
- Advance Fee Payable at the time of Registration: Rs 3,000/-
2. Flexible Advanced Certificate Course in Geoinformatics at (G2)
- For practicing professionals in GIS applicable fields
- 15 working days of Class Room Training at CED Head Quarters culminating with final exams (Theory and Practical )
- 60 working days (maximum), course project and project report under the direction of CED faculty at trainees place of work
- Final presentation of project report at CED or through video conferencing – mandatory for issue of Grade Card and Certificate
- Course fee:Â Rs. 10,000/-(+ GST @18%)
3. Two Months (Part-time) Advanced Certificate Course in Geoinformatics (G3)
- For Post Graduates/Graduates/Diploma holders
- 52 working Days – Morning 7.30am to 9.30am/ Evening 5.30pm to 7.30pm
- Theory, Practical and Project work
- Course fee: Rs. 10,000/- For Indian candidates/US$ 500/- For Foreign candidates (+ GST @18%)
4. Twelve Days Orientation to Geoinformatics (G4)
- For Post graduate Students/ Engaged in Project Work
- 12 working days – 10 am to 5 pm
- Theory, Practical and Demo Project
- Course fee: Rs. 5,000/- For Indian candidates/US$ 250/- For Foreign candidates (+ GST @18%)
5. Six Days Introduction to Geoinformatics (G5)
- For Graduate/Post graduate Students/Teachers/Senior level  Officers– conducted on specific request
- 6 working days – 10 am to 5 pm
- Theory and Practical
- Course fee: Rs. 3,000/- For Indian candidates/US$ 150/- For Foreign candidates (+ GST @18%)

Accommodation
